Several regions of russia were attacked by drones on the night of Monday, February 3. In the Astrakhan Oblast, drones tried to strike at facilities of the fuel and energy complex.
This was stated by the governor of the Astrakhan Oblast, Igor Babushkin, on Telegram.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "tried to attack facilities in the region with drones, in particular fuel and energy facilities."
"As a result of the fall of one of the drones, a fire broke out, there were no injuries," the russian official assured.
Babushkin did not specify which facility was affected, but the russian pro-government Telegram channel Baza reported an attack on a gas processing plant near Astrakhan.
Rosaviatsiya suspended flights at the airports of Astrakhan, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Vladikavkaz, Grozny and Makhachkala.
Recall that the russian Ministry of Defense complained about a massive drone attack on the regions, Moscow and Crimea.
Earlier in Ryazan, unknown drones attacked an oil depot, a military airfield and a Novo-Ryazan thermal power plant.
Also, on the night of January 7-8, Ukrainian strike drones attacked the russian city of Engels. From messages on social networks it became known that an oil depot was hit during the attack.
