The losses of the army of the aggressor country russia on the Pokrovsk axis during January amounted to 7,000 people killed.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, has reported this.
According to him, the Pokrovsk axis remains one of the hottest sections of the front.
He added that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue the defensive operation on this section of the front. It is, in particular, aimed at destroying enemy forces.
"In January of this year alone, our soldiers neutralized more than 15,000 invaders here, of which about 7,000 were irretrievable," Syrskyi reported.
The Commander-in-Chief also published a video showing the "work" of the Ukrainian military on the soldiers of the russian army.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, February 2, the UK Ministry of Defense wrote in its intelligence review that russian soldiers are being forced into battle without being allowed to fully recover from their wounds.
