The 110th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the army of the aggressor country, russia, has got into a "fire bag" in the village of Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk Region.
The brigade has said this in a statement on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the servicemen, the fighting for the village continues.
"The enemy has got into a fire bag. It cannot advance further, but at the same time it is forced to strengthen its units in the city," the brigade reported.
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance is actively working in the area of the settlement, recording the movement and location of the enemy.
After that, FPV drone operators and artillery enter the battle, striking the occupiers who are in Velyka Novosilka.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 29, DeepState analysts stated that russian troops allegedly occupied Velyka Novosilka and also advanced near four settlements.
Recall, on January 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that Ukrainian military personnel in the area of Velyka Novosilka may got into an operational encirclement.
