Currently, seven people have been killed as a result of the shelling of Sumy on the night of January 30.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
In the afternoon, at about 03:00 p.m., the body of the 5th killed person was removed from under the rubble, and in half an hour, rescuers unblocked another killed person.
And as of 05:00 p.m., it was reported about another killed person.
Work to clear the rubble is ongoing.
13 people were injured, including a child.


As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a russian drone hit a high-rise building in Sumy, children were injured.
At about six in the morning, the State Emergency Service reported that rescuers managed to save four people, including one child. 118 people were also evacuated.
As a result of the hit by the russian Shahed, 9 apartments on four floors and 12 balconies were destroyed. More than 80 windows and balconies were broken.
More than 20 cars were also damaged.
