The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has appealed to the media and public figures with a request to comment carefully on the topic of transferring military personnel to other branches and types of troops.
This is stated in a message on the Facebook account of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, January 24.
"Dear media and public figures! Please comment carefully on the sensitive topic of service/transfer to other branches and types of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We remind you that the Air Forces operate hotlines for feedback, including on preventing cases of unauthorized transfers of Air Forces servicemen to other branches and types of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
The Air Forces also emphasized that high-tech military accounting specialties have already been identified, from which it is prohibited to transfer specialists to other types and branches of the Armed Forces. In the event of such cases being identified, the Command promised to "respond appropriately."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 14, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the transfer of acutely deficient specialists from the Air Forces’ engineering and aviation service to the infantry.
After that, the acting commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko stated that transfers of specialists from the engineering and aviation service, as well as other specialties in short supply in the Air Forces, to units of other branches and services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be carried out.
On January 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed not to reduce the number of Air Forces specialists performing combat missions.
On January 16, the Air Forces announced that they had created a special commission that would study cases related to the transfer of Air Forces servicemen to other branches and services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
