On the night of Thursday, January 23, russian troops launched 92 drones and 4 ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 57 drones, another 27 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of January 23 (from 07:00 p.m. on January 22), the enemy attacked with 92 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia), and also used 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Oblast on the city of Zaporizhzhia.
"As of 09:30 a.m., the shooting down of 57 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Regions was confirmed.

27 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences). Three UAVs in the air - combat work continues!" - the message says.
As a result of the enemy ballistic missile strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia, there are killed and wounded, enterprises, institutions, apartment buildings and private houses have been destroyed and damaged.
Special services are eliminating the consequences, assistance is being provided to the victims.
The Kharkiv Region has also suffered from the fall of downed enemy UAVs.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 22, the russians launched 99 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 65 drones, and another 30 UAVs did not reach their targets.
