Zelenskyy in Davos states about Ukraine's protecting of Europe

During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine's strategic role in protecting European values and the security of the continent, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"What Ukraine gives to Davos, and what Ukraine gives to Europe, is hope for protection from people like putin. And Ukraine simply needs a fair alliance with Europe, so as not to be left alone," Zelenskyy emphasized the key message of Ukraine's foreign policy, speaking at the "Your country first - Win with us" exhibition at the Ukrainian House.

The President called on Europe to "wake up" and realize its geopolitical subjectivity. According to him, respect comes through strength and independence, and this is exactly what relations between Europe and the United States should be like.

Zelenskyy also reported on achievements on the sidelines of the forum, in particular on preliminary agreements on air defense and military support, including informal meetings with partner countries. At the same time, Ukraine continues to position itself as the main defender of European security, expecting a mutually beneficial partnership and support in confronting russian aggression.
