121 combat clashes take place at front during day, half of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On January 21, 121 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was the Pokrovsk Axis, where 61 clashes took place during the day.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using 4 missiles, as well as 70 air strikes, dropping 90 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,000 shelling, including 151 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 2,899 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On January 21, 121 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the enemy once tried to break through the defensive lines of the Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk Axis, there were 10 attacks by the invaders near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kutkivka and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman Axis, the russians attacked 13 times, trying to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Kopanky, Terny and Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk Axis, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the Ivano-Daryivka area, one attack was repelled.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the invaders attacked six times in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Fedorivka.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out six attacks in the Toretsk area.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 61 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Hryshyne, Novoserhiyivka, Petropavlivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Slovyanka, Sribne, Shevchenko, Andriyivka, Ulakly, Yantarne, Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka Axis, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the directions of Vremivka, Kostiantynopil and Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the occupation troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces once in the area of ​​the settlement of Kamyanske.

Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled three offensive actions of the enemy in the Prydniprovsk Axis.

In the Huliaipole Axis, the russians did not conduct active actions in the past day.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operation in the Kursk Oblast, where the enemy carried out 23 airstrikes in a day, dropping 31 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 450 shelling, including 16 with MLRS.

Ukrainian defenders repelled seven assault actions of the invaders here.

The Defense Forces inflict significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 16 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, two command posts, four warehouses, two artillery pieces and another important enemy facility.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on January 21 amounted to 1,950 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 20, 152 combat clashes took place at the front, 73 of them in the Pokrovsk Axis.
