"Last year, we worked with control objects to encourage them to take active action to compensate for financial violations identified by control measures. This allowed us to return UAH 6.2 billion to the budgets of various levels and to the accounts of enterprises, institutions, and organizations," the Head of the State Audit Service noted.

Alla Basalaeva also recalled that in 2024 the State Audit Service was transformed due to the expansion of its powers to the level of the Anti-Fraud Coordination Service (AFCOS) and the strengthening of its capabilities to protect the financial interests of the European Union and international partners.

Basalaeva added that in 2025 the State Audit Service will continue systemic control to ensure that the liability of violators is inevitable.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the results of inspections by the State Audit Service in the first half of 2024, UAH 2.3 billion were returned to the budget.
