Severe sanctions and the provision of timely and sufficient military assistance to Ukraine must be applied together to force the aggressor country of russia to agree to a just peace.
This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in his X-account on Sunday, January 19.
The Foreign Minister noted that it is necessary to increase the cost of war for russia and apply the entire set of economic and military measures. According to him, such measures will work only if applied decisively.
"Maximum economic and military pressure includes severe sanctions, the full use of frozen russian assets to support Ukraine, as well as the provision of specific military assistance to Ukraine in sufficient quantities and on time to allow our soldiers to conduct successful military operations," Sybiha wrote.

On January 15, Sybiha stressed that Ukraine will not enter into direct negotiations with russian dictator vladimir putin.
