Today, January 17, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation.
The Chinese state news agency Xinhua has reported this.
"Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Friday," the report said.
Details of the conversation between Trump and Xi were not provided.
It should be noted that this conversation took place three days before Donald Trump's inauguration.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, previously U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said that he had spoken with Chinese leader Xi Jinping through his representatives and believes in the possibility of further understanding with the Chinese leader.
Meanwhile, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping will not come to Washington for the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, which is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
