The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.

Thus, russian troops shot two fighters of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, who were captured a few days ago on one of the axes.

It is indicated that when the Special Operations Forces operators went forward to carry out special actions, they destroyed part of the firing squad, and forced the others to surrender.

The captured russians turned out to be marines from the 40th Arctic Brigade. During interrogation, the invaders admitted that they had captured two soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces and reported this to their company commander.

"The company commander ordered the Russians to execute the Ukrainian soldiers over the radio. The Territorial Defense fighters heard this and rushed to flee, but Russian soldiers with the call signs "Yary", "Lebed", "Bum" and "Bely" immediately opened fire on them,” the department said.

As a result of special operations, the Special Operations Forces operators destroyed the last three, and "Yary" along with two others managed to be captured. It is noted that they are already giving evidence.

All the prisoners turned out to be contract soldiers who have been serving in the russian army for only a month and a half.

"The execution of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and is a war crime. "There will be a well-deserved punishment for anyone who commits war crimes against Ukraine," the Special Operations Forces stressed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrainian paratroopers, together with related units, captured 27 enemy servicemen in the Kursk Oblast - representatives of various regions of russia and the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol.
