The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck equipment and machinery in the Belgorod Oblast, weakening the air defense of the aggressor state of russia. In particular, the defense forces hit the 92N6 radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system in the Belgorod Oblast of the aggressor state of russia.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, on the afternoon of January 16, units of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, as part of long-range fire destruction, struck precise strikes on military targets of the russian aggressor in the territory of the Belgorod Oblast.
"In particular, the positions of the anti-aircraft missile division of the 568th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the occupation army of the russian federation were attacked. The cessation of the functioning of the 92N6 radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile complex was recorded, which indicates the successful destruction of the target," the message says.
In addition, the missilemen also successfully worked on the positions of the radar company of the radio engineering battalion of the 336th radio engineering regiment of the russian invaders. Damage to the equipment and machinery of this unit was confirmed.
"Combat work to weaken the air defense of the Russian Federation continues," the General Staff added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported on another attack on the Tambov Gunpowder Plant, which is one of the main suppliers of explosive materials for the army of the aggressor state of russia.
