Syrskyi presents Ukraine's action plan for 2025 to commanders-in-chief of armies of NATO countries

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, presented the strategy of the Ukrainian army for 2025 to the commanders-in-chief of the armies of NATO member states.

The press service of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO has reported this.

On January 16, an online meeting was held at NATO headquarters, in which the commanders-in-chief of the armies of the alliance countries participated. Syrskyi took part in the meeting online.

"The general presented Ukraine's action strategy for 2025 to the allies. He separately emphasized the importance for Ukraine of strengthening air defense, in particular to protect critical infrastructure, as well as the ability to strike military facilities deep into the territory of the Russian Federation," the report says.

Syrskyi thanked Ukraine's partners for their support in the fight against russia's full-scale military aggression.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also called on NATO countries to increase investments in Ukraine's defense industry according to the "Danish model" and to continue to provide assistance to the country in its fight against the russian federation.

The commanders-in-chief of the armed forces of NATO countries assured Syrskyi that the alliance's support for Ukraine will remain unchanged.

As the Ukrainian News agency reported, earlier today, January 16, General Syrskyi stated that the overwhelming forces of the aggressor country russia failed to achieve the strategic goal on any of the front lines.

As a reminder, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada refused to summon Syrskyi due to the situation with the transfer of scarce specialists of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to infantry units and their subsequent dispatch to the front.
