The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has informed that the overwhelming enemy forces failed to achieve the strategic goal on any of the front sections.
He reported this on Telegram.
Thus, Oleksandr Syrskyi had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Armed Forces General Charles Brown, in which he informed his American colleague about the situation on the front line, which is characterized by heavy fighting in most directions.
"Thanks to the courage and bravery of the Ukrainian military, the overwhelming enemy forces failed to achieve the strategic goal on any of the front sections. Gratitude and respect to our soldiers for the effective combat work they are conducting during intense clashes," the message says.
The Commander-in-Chief thanked General Brown for the positive dynamics in providing logistical assistance, especially in terms of supplying air defense systems, heavy equipment, artillery and aviation ammunition.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Armed Forces assured that "the resilience of Ukrainian soldiers will continue to be effectively supported by the U.S."
In addition, Syrskyi expressed condolences to the American people for the irreparable losses caused by the recent terrible fires in the state of California.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrainian paratroopers, together with related units, captured 27 enemy servicemen in the Kursk Oblast - representatives of various regions of russia and the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol.
Meanwhile, the russian occupiers hit important industrial facilities in settlements on the Pokrovsk axis with thermobaric munitions, which led to their damage and destruction.
