Russian military personnel become more likely to surrender to captivity - National Guard

Russian military personnel have recently begun to surrender to captivity more often voluntarily.

The spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine, Ruslan Muzychuk, stated this on Telegram.

According to him, the surrender of russians usually occurs during their assault operations in the area of urban buildings.

"That is, the very nature of the fighting provides such prerequisites, and of course, during assault operations in the area of urban buildings. Of course, it all depends on the nature of the fighting - whether it was active fighting, whether there were opportunities for the occupying forces to surrender," he noted.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, propaganda convinces russian soldiers to shorten their lives, but not to surrender. They obey.

The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, addressed the russian military in a video in the style of the STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl video game and called on the occupiers to surrender to the Ukrainian defenders.

Earlier, Ukraine decided to open an additional place of detention for russian prisoners of war.
