On the night of Tuesday, January 14, drones attacked the Saratov Oblast of the russian federation. In particular, explosions were heard in the city of Engels.

It is reported that 4-5 explosions were heard in the city. Later, smoke from a fire could be seen in one of the districts.
Saratov Oblast governor Roman Busargin said that the attack damaged an industrial zone at one of the enterprises.
There was no information about the casualties.
According to russian sources, "eight drones were shot down" over the city.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 7-8, Ukrainian strike drones attacked the russian city of Engels. From messages on social networks, it became known that an oil depot was hit during the attack.
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Ukrainian military had struck the Krystal Combine oil depot. It provided fuel to the Engels-2 airfield, which is home to the strategic aviation of the russian army, which is participating in the missile attacks on Ukraine.
On the evening of January 8, it became known that due to the intensification of the fire at the Engels oil depot, a state of emergency was introduced.
