The Ministry of Defense has explained why orders for transfer through the Army+ application sometimes have to wait a month, or even longer.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the message, in almost two months since the launch of the Army+ application, the function of changing the place of service has already been approved by 7,000 servicemen to continue serving in the unit they chose on their own.
At the same time, the message says that in recent weeks the Ministry of Defense has received about a hundred appeals from servicemen who are still waiting for the order or are faced with its being ignored.
It is noted that up to 1,000 reports are submitted to the Personnel Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the Army+ every day, and currently 30,000 have been submitted.
Some servicemen submit applications 5-7 times, correcting errors based on operator prompts or receiving a refusal each time due to the unit commander's rejection of the transfer, where his approval is required by the resolution.
"This increases the load on operators who work around the clock. Sometimes orders are formed in a few days, and servicemen immediately see its number and date in the application. And sometimes it takes weeks," the Ministry notes.
The Ministry of Defense reports that they have analyzed the most common mistakes made by servicemen, improved the report template in the Army+, added links to sample recommendation documents and a list of typical military documents with prompts about the pages that need to be attached.
In addition, it is noted that there are artificial barriers that can be created on the ground.
To overcome them, in December, the formation of orders for soldiers and sergeants was simplified by the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, removing the position of military from it, now it is enough to indicate only his name, rank, unit number and taxpayer card.
This was done in particular to eliminate cases when the transfer order was ignored due to a change in position in the staffing list.
The Ministry also notes that the Central Department for the Protection of the Rights of Servicemen, together with the military command bodies, respond to the appeals of servicemen and monitor the execution of orders by unit commanders.
If there is a transfer order, and the commander detains a serviceman who has chosen another unit for himself, where he will feel motivated, the Ministry of Defense advises filling out the form in the application (following the route: Menu → Support Service → Frequently Asked Questions → Change of Place of Service, select the desired question at the top), then the request will be recorded and the status of the order will be clarified.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, starting November 15, the Army+ mobile application for military personnel launched a function to change their place of service.
