President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with US President Joe Biden, during which the leaders of the states discussed sanctions against the aggressor country of russia, as well as strengthening Ukrainian air defense.
Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel on Friday, January 10.
The head of state said that he expressed condolences to Biden in connection with the fires in California and thanked him for his support for Ukraine. Zelenskyy noted that US sanctions against russia will hit putin, since the companies Gazpromneft and Surgutneftegaz accumulate money personally for the russian dictator.
"We discussed the situation on the battlefield, the need to continue to strengthen our air shield and protect life in Ukrainian cities and villages from russian terror - from daily strikes by russian missiles and drones. Patriots in the hands of Ukrainians have proven their effectiveness, we must increase this force," the President emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 9, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he considers the deployment of partner continents in Ukraine to be one of the best tools for forcing the aggressor country of russia to make peace.
Also on January 9, Zelenskyy said that he is doing everything possible to end the war of the aggressor country of russia against Ukraine in 2025.
As we recall, on January 5, Zelenskyy said that negotiations on ending the war between the aggressor country of russia and Ukraine should begin with US President Donald Trump and European leaders.
