In the Toretsk Axis, assault groups of russian occupiers penetrated the battle formations of Ukrainian troops.
This was reported by the Official channel of the Khortytsia operational and strategic troops group (OSTG) in Telegram.
It is noted that over the past day in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk Axes, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in Chasiv Yar, in Toretsk and near Bila Hora.
As reported by the Khortytsia OSTG, to move personnel for the purpose of the offensive in the direction of Shcherbynivka, the enemy used automotive equipment, which was destroyed.
"Measures are underway to detect, localize and destroy the enemy assault groups that infiltrated our battle formations," the message says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last day, January 2, the occupiers carried out assault operations in the Kharkiv and Kupyansk Axes, which led to the destruction of some positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The russian occupiers are attempting to cross the Oskil River in the west of the Kharkiv Region. The Ukrainian military are preventing them from doing so.
