AFU launch precision strike on russian army’s command post in Khartsyzk, Donetsk Region – General Staff

Today, January 8, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a strike on the command post of the 8th Guards Combined Arms Army of the russian federation in the Donetsk Region. The building was used to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians, in particular the residents of Kurakhove.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

Thus, the specified command post was located in the city of Khartsyzk, Donetsk Region. The Armed Forces launched a precision strike on it.

"The Russian occupation forces used this building to coordinate attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population, in particular the residents of Kurakhove. All necessary measures were taken to minimize the risks to civilians," the message says.

Recall that as of January 7, according to the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, the city of Kurakhove in the Donetsk Region has been almost completely captured by the russians, but fighting continues on the western outskirts of the city.
