Ukrainian troops repel attacks by occupiers in Vovchansk area - Kharkiv OSTG

The operational situation in the Kharkiv Axis has not undergone significant changes and remains difficult. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the onslaught of the russian occupation forces.

This is reported by the press center of the Kharkiv Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG).

As noted, over the past day, three enemy attacks were repelled in the Vovchansk area. The russian occupiers carried out 4 airstrikes using 7 guided aerial bombs, 8 NARs, as well as 36 strikes with kamikaze drones. They carried out 352 attacks on the positions of the defenders of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last day, on January 2, the occupiers carried out assault operations in the Kharkiv and Kupyansk Axes, which led to the destruction of some positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The russian occupiers are attempting to cross the Oskil River in the west of the Kharkiv Region. The Ukrainian military is preventing them from doing so.

In late November 2024, the Khortytsia OSTG announced that the russians had failed while crossing the Oskil River.
