Territorial recruitment and social support centers can mobilize reserved workers, while canceling deferrals.
This was written by Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, member of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Oleksandr Fedienko (Servant of the People) in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The MP published the answers of the Mykolaiv Regional territorial recruitment and social support center to his request regarding the mobilization of reserved men.
From the document published by the MP, it follows that the employees specified in the MP's request were reserved from mobilization, but were summoned by order of the head of the Mykolaiv District territorial recruitment and social support center to clarify their registration data and undergo a medical examination and were called up for military service upon conscription during mobilization.
According to the territorial recruitment and social support center's response, officials canceled deferrals from military service without taking into account the fact that the specified employees were reserved at an enterprise that was recognized as critically important.
The Mykolaiv Regional territorial recruitment and social support center in its response claims that it acted within the framework of current legislation.
"I received a response regarding the mobilization of a reserved employee. That is, now it is possible: to cancel the deferral for an employee of a critically important enterprise, without even paying attention that he was reserved ... The problem with this whole story is that now it is impossible to demobilize such a person. The enterprise loses a critically important employee. And the entire reservation system lost trust from enterprises that, within the framework of current legislation, reserve critically important employees. You can put a salary of at least one hundred thousand, but you will not be able to protect your employee from further mobilization," Fedienko noted in his post.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the term of existing reservations for mobilization to the army by a month - due to a cyberattack on state registers.
