Zelenskyy tells how Lukashenko apologizes at beginning of war and offers to strike oil refinery in Belarus

In the first days of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country of russia into Ukraine, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko apologized for the missiles launched from the territory of his country and offered to strike the Mozyr oil refinery.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told this in an interview with American podcaster Lex Fridman.

"A little later, a few days later, in the first days of the war, I spoke with Lukashenko on the phone, and he apologized. He said: "It's not me. Missiles were launched from my territory, and putin was launching them." These are his words, I have witnesses. He said: "I apologize. Believe me, Volodya, it's not me. I don't control it, it's just missiles, it's putin"..." Zelenskyy said.

He added that he responded to Lukashenko, calling him "the same murderer as putin."

"And Lukashenko told me: "Understand, you can't fight the russians." I told him: "We've never fought. War. Missiles flew from your land, from Belarus. How did you allow it?" He says: "Okay, response in return." I still remember him telling me: "A strike on an oil refinery. You know how much it means to me." The Mozyr refinery. I tell him: "What are you talking about? What response?"," Zelenskyy recalled.

The President also specified that this conversation took place "on the second or third day of the war."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy also stated that negotiations on ending the war between russia and Ukraine should begin with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, and only then with russian president vladimir putin.

In addition, Zelenskyy believes that russian dictator vladimir putin does not like russians, otherwise he would not send them to wars of aggression in other states. Also, the russians have been engaged in the enslavement and destruction of peoples within russia in order to erase their identity.
