In 2024, compared to 2023, sales of new passenger cars increased by 14.1% to 69,600 units.
This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Among new passenger cars in 2024, Toyota cars were in the greatest demand - 10,731 (+4%) registered cars.
In second place are Renault passenger cars (7,266 registered cars (+25%)), third place in the ranking is occupied by Skoda cars (5,033 cars (+2%), fourth place is occupied by Volkswagen cars (4,899 cars (-13%)), fifth - BMW (4,833 cars (+17%)), sixth - Nissan (2,777 cars (+41%)), seventh - Hyundai (2,618 cars (-11%)), eighth - Peugeot (2,474 cars (+69%)), ninth - Suzuki (2,301 cars (-4%)), tenth - Mazda (2,256 cars (+0.2%)).
The bestseller of 2024 on the Ukrainian market of new passenger cars, 6,826 cars, was the compact crossover RENAULT Duster.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, compared to 2022, sales of new passenger cars increased by 60.6% to almost 61,000 units.
