New passenger car sales up 60.6% to 61,000 in 2023

In 2023, the sales of new passenger cars increased by 60.6% year over year to almost 61,000 units.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Among new passenger cars, Toyota cars were in the greatest demand in 2023 – 10,197 registered cars.

Renault cars are in the second place (5,790 registered cars), Volkswagen cars are in the third place in the ranking (5,627 cars), the fourth place - Skoda cars (4,938 cars), the fifth place - BMW (4,128 cars), the sixth - Hyundai (2,945 cars), the seventh - Mercedes-Benz (2,543 cars), the eighth - Suzuki (2,396 cars), the ninth - Mazda (2,252 cars), the tenth - Nissan (1,975 cars).

Renault Duster was the most sold car in 2023 (5,445 cars sold).

As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2022, the sale of new passenger cars decreased by 63% year over year to 37.900 units.
