The wife of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, is ready to support any decision her husband makes regarding his future political career.
The First Lady said this in an exclusive interview with hosts Yuliya Halushka and Yehor Hordeyev on the TSN.ua channel.
"It seems to me that I, as a wife, should support any decision. Whether it will be popular in our family or not is another matter. It seems to me that the second time it is not as scary as the first time, so... - said the First Lady of Ukraine. - Of course, I would not want to live in this emotional state my whole life. This is an exhausting period. The most difficult period in our life and personally."
She added that the most terrible period in her life began after the aggressor country of russia carried out a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to Zelenska, if their family starts talking about the presidential election, it will mean that "the hot phase of the war is over."
"This is already a positive sign and I don't care about that, in principle. And I will support any choice and I will probably be happy," she added.
Zelenskyy, commenting on his wife's words, added that they do not discuss this topic in the family.
"There is nothing to discuss. Let's be honest," he said.
