DPRK soldiers got drunk on New Year's Eve in Kursk Oblast - Defense Intelligence

On the night of January 1, North Korean soldiers continued to be involved in hostilities in the Kursk Oblast, cases of alcohol abuse were recorded among the DPRK military. Units of the North Korean army are suffering significant losses, their fighting spirit is declining.

Thus, to replace losses and strengthen positions, russian commanders are transferring new soldiers of the DPRK army to the front line - on December 31 and January 1, groups of North Korean soldiers were moved to positions in the area of ​​the villages of Ulanky, Fanaseyevka, Cherkasskaya Konopelka, Kursk Oblast of the russian federation.

"Lower-level commanders (department/platoon/company) lie in reports to the higher command about the real level of losses among servicemen of the DPRK army," the report says.

The Defense Intelligence added that the fighting spirit of North Korean soldiers has fallen. They are constantly "treated" with russian-military propaganda about the "great importance" of the participation of the DPRK army in the war against Ukraine.

"On New Year's Eve, cases of alcohol abuse were recorded among North Korean soldiers, including those involved in hostilities," the department informed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Pentagon noted that North Korean troops are suffering high losses as a result of attacks in the Kursk Oblast by the aggressor state of russia, and assessed their effectiveness.
