In 2024, exports of goods increased by 13.4% to USD 41 billion

In 2024, according to preliminary data, Ukraine exported 129.2 million tons of goods worth USD 41.043 billion, which is 13.4% more in monetary terms and 28.8% in weight than last year (in 2023, 100.3 million tons of goods worth USD 36.1 billion were exported).

This is indicated in a statement by the Ministry of Economy, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

“The key to achieving such results was the normalization of the work of Ukraine's seaports. If in 2023 Ukraine exported 54.8 million tons of products by sea, then this year it is already 87.2 million tons. Another important factor is Ukraine's productive cooperation with partners, aimed at developing mutually beneficial trade. The EU has extended the "economic visa-free regime" for Ukraine," said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.

In turn, Deputy Minister of Economy - Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka noted that in 2024 the European Union remained Ukraine's key trading partner.
