The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed former head of the Poltava Regional State Administration Filip Pronin as head of State Financial Monitoring Service instead of Ihor Cherkaskyi.
This is stated in the government's message on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"At its meeting on December 31, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted an order to dismiss Ihor Borysovych Cherkaskyi from the post of head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine... and to appoint Filip Yevhenovych Pronin as head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine," the message says.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Pronin from the post of head of the Poltava Regional State Administration on December 30 in accordance with his application.
In March 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ihor Cherkaskyi as head of the State Financial Monitoring Service.
In October 2023, Zelenskyy appointed Filip Pronin, Deputy Head of the National Agency for the Detection, Tracing and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA), as head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.
Pronin was appointed Deputy Head of ARMA in January 2020. In 2021, he joined the Council on the Prevention and Counteraction to the Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
