On December 29, 186 combat clashes with the russian occupiers took place, most of them in the Kursk Oblast of russia (46), where the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ongoing, as well as in the Pokrovsk Axis (43).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out seven air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping nine guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,000 shelling, 188 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved about 2,400 kamikaze drones for the strikes.
In the Kharkiv Axis, two enemy attacks took place in the areas of the settlements of Hatyshche and Vovchansk, both attacks were repelled, the enemy was unsuccessful.
In the Kupyansk Axis, seven attacks by the invaders took place during the day.
The Defense Forces repelled the assault actions of the invaders near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova.
In the Siversk Axis, the enemy made one futile attempt to push the Ukrainian defenders from the occupied positions near Zolotarivka.
In the Lyman Axis, the russians attacked 27 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiya, Makiyivka, Terny, Novoserhiyivka, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, the invaders attacked 9 times in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy made six attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novoolenivka, Novovasylivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne and Novoyelyzavetivka.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks.
The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of the settlements of Ukrainka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy carried out 20 assaults on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Kostiantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostiantynopil and Pryvilne.
It involved bomber aircraft for strikes in the Axis.
In the Prydniprovskyi Axis, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two russian attacks.
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Orikhiv and Huliaipole Axes.
An operation is underway in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), where Ukrainian soldiers repelled 46 enemy attacks in a day.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces inflicted nine strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, as well as one strike on a warehouse storing enemy fuels and lubricants.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on December 29 amounted to 2,010 people.
