Overnight into Monday, December 30, russian troops launched 43 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 21 drones, another 22 UAVs did not reach their targets.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of December 30 (from 07:00 p.m. on December 29), the enemy attacked with 43 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types from Primorsko-Akhtarsk (russia).
"As a result of combat work by units of anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups, 21 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of simulator drones were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Odesa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk Regions," the report says.
At the same time, 22 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
In the Kharkiv and Odesa Regions, private houses were damaged due to the fall of downed drones.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of December 28, the russians launched 16 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military shot down 15 drones, and another 1 UAV was lost in location.
