In the Kherson Region, the russian occupiers are attempting to conduct landing operations on the islands. At the same time, despite the statements of propagandists, there is no talk of an attack on Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko.
"In the Kherson Region, the russians are trying to conduct landing operations on the islands. The Defense Forces are destroying them very effectively. Russia is suffering losses," the report says.
Kovalenko noted that at the same time, russian propagandists are threatening an attack on the city of Kherson itself, although, according to him, this is not the case.
"The key plan of the enemy, for which our army is ready, is these attempts by the russians to land in groups on boats on certain parts of the islands. Their drones, artillery and aviation also pose a danger to Kherson, as before," he explained.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the head of the Regional Military Administration said that the russian occupiers have intensified maneuvers with manpower and equipment in the Kherson Region, and have increased firepower.
