The russian occupiers have intensified maneuvers with manpower and equipment in the Kherson Region and have increased firepower.
This was stated by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on the air of a telethon, Suspilne. Kherson writes.
"Yes, we are observing increased enemy activity. We understand the places where enemy landing groups can be landed, and the Defense Forces are ready to destroy them. They are not isolated every day. There are facts when they advance and try to gain a foothold on the islands or on the right bank. So far, no attempt has been successful," Prokudin said.
Recall that earlier the military said that russian troops probably want to seize a bridgehead on the right bank of the Dnieper in order to transfer firepower there, which would reach Kherson. Every day, five to seven assaults by small infantry groups take place in the Prydniprovsk Axis.
On December 20, the russians attempted to land sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Kherson area on the right bank of the Kherson Region.
