A passenger plane Embraer 190 of the Azerbaijani airline, flying from Baku to Grozny and crashed in Kazakhstan, was shot down by a russian anti-aircraft missile system.
This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, in his Telegram channel.
According to him, it is the aggressor country of russia that is to blame for the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane. Kovalenko stressed that the russian air defense system shot down the aircraft flying from Baku to Grozny.
"Russia should have closed the airspace over Grozny, but did not do this. The plane was damaged by the russians and was sent to Kazakhstan, instead of making an emergency landing in Grozny and saving people's lives. In one word - rashka," Kovalenko wrote.
