Russia announces that drones attacked Belgorod Oblast. Number of settlements left without electricity

Overnight into December 26, a drone attack occurred in the Belgorod Oblast, which caused the electricity to go out in some settlements.

This was reported by russian Telegram channels.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed the information about the attack. According to him, the drones struck the Grayvoronsky district.

As a result of the dropping of explosive devices, power lines were damaged, which led to the loss of power in a number of settlements, including Gora-Podol, Glotove, Kozinka, Novostroevka-Pervaya, as well as the resettled villages of Bezimiannoe and Novostroevka-Vtoraya.

Gladkov reported that emergency crews will be able to begin restoration work after receiving permission from the russian Ministry of Defense.
