Overnight into December 26, a drone attack occurred in the Belgorod Oblast, which caused the electricity to go out in some settlements.
This was reported by russian Telegram channels.
The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed the information about the attack. According to him, the drones struck the Grayvoronsky district.
As a result of the dropping of explosive devices, power lines were damaged, which led to the loss of power in a number of settlements, including Gora-Podol, Glotove, Kozinka, Novostroevka-Pervaya, as well as the resettled villages of Bezimiannoe and Novostroevka-Vtoraya.
Gladkov reported that emergency crews will be able to begin restoration work after receiving permission from the russian Ministry of Defense.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Christmas Day, December 25, the aggressor country of russia launched over 70 missiles and 100 drones at Ukraine. Over 50 missiles and a significant portion of the drones were shot down.
