The propaganda machine of the aggressor country of russia is trying to hide the fact of December 25 attack by Ukrainian drones on Chechnya, as it may be related to the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane, which killed 38 people.
This was reported by the russian online publication Agentstvo. Novosti.
The publication writes that 10 hours after the drone attack on Chechnya, the country's authorities have not admitted that Ukrainian UAVs carried out a raid on the region. Journalists found only one mention of this in state media and Telegram channels associated with law enforcement agencies.
The russian Ministry of Defense also did not report anything about the attack by Ukrainian drones.
It is noted that the authorities also tried to hide the attack on the North Ossetia region neighboring Chechnya, in the capital of which - Vladikavkaz - an explosion occurred in the Alania Mall shopping center.
Initially, the media reported that the incident was caused by a gas explosion. Later, the head of the region, Sergey Menyaylo, said that the debris of a downed Ukrainian drone fell on the shopping center.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau. There were 69 passengers and crew members on board. 38 people were killed.
Among the possible causes of the plane crash are a technical malfunction and a collision with birds. The cause of the accident has not yet been officially reported.
As the media later wrote, holes were found on the skin of the plane that crashed in Aktau, very similar to traces of the striking elements of an anti-aircraft missile.
