The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha commented on the massive strike on Ukraine on Christmas. He believes that with today's terror, putin responded to the proposals of some countries for a Christmas truce.
“Another massive russian strike against Ukraine’s energy system. This Christmas terror is putin’s response to those who spoke about illusionary “Christmas ceasefire”. One russian missile passed Moldovan and Romanian airspace, reminding that russia threatens not only Ukraine,” Sybiha wrote on the social network X.
Recall that on Christmas, December 25, the aggressor country of russia launched more than 70 missiles and 100 drones at Ukraine. More than 50 missiles and a significant part of the drones were shot down.
In the morning, Ukrenergo introduced emergency power outage schedules due to massive missile attack.
In addition, on December 25, the russian occupiers launched 12 missiles at Kharkiv. All of them were aimed at boiler houses and power engineering facilities. As a result of the strike, a significant part of Kharkiv was left without heating.
Zelenskyy believes that putin deliberately chose Christmas to attack Ukraine.
