The aggressor country of russia once again attacked Ukraine, trying to destroy the energy infrastructure. In particular, the Ivano-Frankivsk Region was under attack.
This is stated in the message of the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk.
"During the morning air alert, the enemy also struck Prykarpattia. As a result, part of the region was without power. Fortunately, there were no casualties," she wrote.
Later, Onyshchuk reported that the power supply in the region had been restored.
According to her, residents of Kalush, Burshtyn and Ivano-Frankivsk were without power.
"Thanks to the coordinated work of power engineers, all consumers are currently powered, there are no power outages in the region! Thanks to all services for their prompt work!" the head of the Regional Military Administration added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Wednesday morning, December 25, measures were introduced to limit electricity consumption due to russia's massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine.
It was also reported that russian troops on Wednesday, January 25, struck DTEK thermal power plants, seriously damaging their equipment.
