The number of killed and wounded North Korean military in the Kursk Oblast of the aggressor country russia has already exceeded 3,000 people.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on the Telegram channel, talking about the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Today, there was also a report by Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi on the front and areas of the Kursk operation. There are risks of sending additional soldiers and military equipment to the Russian army from North Korea, and there will be our tangible responses to this. Now, according to preliminary data, the number of killed and wounded North Korean military in Kursk Oblast has already exceeded 3,000 people," he said.
Zelenskyy stressed that it is important for the world to understand that the risk of destabilization around the Korean Peninsula and in neighboring regions and water areas is increasing in proportion to the growth of cooperation between moscow and Pyongyang.
"The transfer of experience in modern warfare and the spread of military technology from Russia is a global threat. For the world, the price of restoring stability is always much higher than the price of effective pressure on those who destabilize the situation and destroy life," he noted.

On December 16, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that units of the DPRK army participating in the fighting in the Kursk Oblast (russia) suffered significant losses, and in this regard they are being replenished.
In early December, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that about 2,000 servicemen from North Korea are already in the combat units of the russian occupation army, and 9,000 North Korean servicemen are in the operational reserve of the russian army.
