USD 16 million-worth warehouse of Shahed drone parts destroyed in russia – Defense Intelligence

A warehouse containing parts for Shahed-136 drones, which the enemy uses to strike Ukraine, caught fire in the Alabuga economic zone in the aggressor country of russia.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the Defense Intelligence, the premises contained 65 fuselages of attack drones, as well as engines, navigation systems, and thermal imaging cameras for the production of 400 Shahed-136 units - everything burned down.

The intelligence officers emphasized that the aggressor's losses caused by the destruction of the enemy's warehouse are estimated at USD 16 million.

"The mysterious destructive fire was another blow to the military-industrial complex of terrorist Russia. The Defense Intelligence reminds that for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people, there will be fair retribution," the intelligence officers added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov Oblast stopped working due to drone attacks. This refinery is the largest in southern russia.

It was also reported that on the night of December 13-14, explosions were heard in the russian city of Oryol and in the city of Zheleznogorsk in the Kursk Oblast. Strong explosions were heard in both locations, and after the hits, a fire broke out at an oil depot near Oryol.
