Trump did not invite Zelenskyy to inauguration, but is not against Zelenskyy being there

US President-elect Donald Trump did not invite Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to his inauguration on January 20.

He said this during a press conference.

At the same time, Trump is not against Zelenskyy coming to him.

"...If he wanted to come, I would accept him," Trump said when asked about Zelenskyy's invitation.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, US President-elect Donald Trump invited the President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration in January 2025.

On December 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US President-elect Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.

On December 9, Trump confirmed that he had spoken with Zelenskyy about the possibility of ending the war and stressed the Ukrainian President's readiness for negotiations.
