On Tuesday, December 9, russian troops shelled one of the thermal power plants in the Donetsk Region. There is a victim and wounded, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine informs on Telegram.
As a result of the attack by the invaders, 65-year-old TPP mechanic Volodymyr Kilyarov was killed. Two more workers were wounded.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, today, December 9, 2024, power engineers introduced emergency power outages in the Donetsk Region.
The US Embassy warned of an increased threat of air strikes on Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that in Kyiv and three regions, the power outage schedules for December 9 were updated. In the capital, from 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m., two lines of power outages will operate instead of one.
