Massive shelling by russians. Air Forces tell how many missiles and UAVs were shot down

On the night of Sunday, November 17, the aggressor country russia carried out a massive combined attack on energy facilities of Ukraine with various types of air-, land- and sea-based missiles, as well as Shahed type attack drones. According to preliminary data, 210 enemy aerial targets were identified and escorted: 120 missiles and 90 UAVs.

This is stated in the message of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Thus, the radio engineering troops of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered:

• 3M22 Zircon hypersonic cruise missile;
• 8 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
• 101 Kh-101 Kalibr cruise missiles;
• Iskander-M ballistic missile;
• 4 Kh-22/Kh-31P cruise/anti-radio missiles;
• 5 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided air missiles;
• 90 strike UAVs/drones of unspecified type.

The Air Forces reported that for the air attack, the russians engaged 7 Tu-160 and 16 Tu-95MS strategic bombers, 2 Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, 5 Su-34 fighter-bombers, 4 Su-27 fighters, 10 MiG-31K fighters, 4 ships - carriers of cruise missiles.

"During the night, all available forces and means of air defense worked along the route of tracking of the missiles and drones. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved," the Air Forces emphasized.

As of 12:00 p.m., there was information about the downing of 144 air targets: 102 missiles and 42 UAVs). In particular:

• 3M22 Zirkon hypersonic cruise missile;
• 7 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
• 85 Kh-101 Kalibr cruise missiles;
• 4 Kh-22/Kh-31P cruise/anti-radio missiles;
• 5 Kh-59/69 guided air missiles;
• 42 strike UAVs/drones of unspecified type (from Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk areas - russia).

Besides, as a result of the active countermeasures of the Defense Forces, 41 enemy drones were lost in various regions of Ukraine, two more UAVs flew towards the aggressor country of russia and the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Air defense worked in almost all regions of Ukraine - in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Volyn and Lviv Regions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation, russia has stockpiled missiles for several future massive strikes and continues to accumulate them.
