On December 4, 2024, the Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company appointed Roman Chumak, Financial Director of Naftogaz Group, as acting chairman of the Board of the company.
This was announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement said that this decision was supported by all seven members of the Supervisory Board.
The Supervisory Board also decided to begin the process of selecting a new head of the company, with the aim of completing this process by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Chairman of the Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company Oleksii Chernyshov to the position of Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine.
