On November 3, 2022, the Rada dismissed Chernyshov from the post of Minister.

Since November 4, 2022, Chernyshov has held the position of the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while presenting the Resilience Plan for Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, announced the creation of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine to strengthen policy towards Ukrainians abroad.

Recall that on November 29, MP Oleksii Honcharenko wrote that the new ministry was allegedly to be headed by former MP Aliona Shkrum, who resigned the previous day.
