The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of December 7, the enemy struck with a missile of an unidentified type on the Sumy Region, and also attacked 14 Shahed strike UAVs and drones of other types (launch area: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, russia).
"As of 08:30 a.m., units of the anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 7 enemy UAVs in the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr Regions," the report says.
6 drones were lost in the airspace, 1 — left the controlled airspace in the direction of russia.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of December 6, russian troops launched 53 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces shot down 32 of them.
