The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of December 6 (from 08:00 p.m. on December 5), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 53 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types from the Oryol area (russian federation).
"As of 07:00 a.m., units of the anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 32 enemy UAVs in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr Regions," the report says.
It is also reported that 16 drones were lost in location, 2 - left controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of December 5, russian troops launched 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 44 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces shot down 30 drones.
Meanwhile, on the night of December 6, analysts from the DeepState project reported that the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, occupied Novopustynka, Stari Terny, Ilyinka, Novodmytrivka in the Donetsk Region.
