Oreshnik missile used by russia to strike Dnipro was without explosives - media

Russia used a new ballistic missile to attack Dnipro that had multiple warheads, but was without explosives, causing minimal damage, two senior Ukrainian government officials confirmed, Reuters reported.

The use of such a missile, they said, could be a signal to the West after the lifting of restrictions on long-range strikes on russian territory. Western experts are trying to study this experimental medium-range missile designed for nuclear strikes. One of the sources said the missile had fictitious warheads.

"In this case (the missile - ed.) was without explosives... There were no types of explosions, as we expected. There was something, but it wasn't huge," the second source added.

Recall that on the morning of November 21, the russian occupiers carried out a missile strike on Dnipro using an intercontinental ballistic missile. It dropped several dozen warheads on the city, which did not cause significant damage.
