Overnight into Wednesday, November 27, russian troops launched 89 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to destroy 36 enemy drones, 48 UAVs were lost in location.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of November 27 (from 07:30 p.m. on November 26), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 89 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of an unidentified type from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia).
"As of 09:00 a.m., air defenses shot down 36 enemy drones in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv Regions. 48 UAVs were lost in location, presumably due to active countermeasures by the Defense Forces' electronic warfare. 5 drones left controlled airspace towards Belarus, russia and temporarily occupied territories," the report says.

Due to the fall of enemy UAVs fragments, private and apartment buildings, property of citizens in the Kyiv Region were damaged.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare means and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of November 16, the russians launched 83 drones and 1 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 53 UAVs, and 30 enemy drones were lost in location.
